Upward Basketball
Upward is more then a game. your child will have fun learning or improving their basketball skills through Upward. Participating in this league will give your child a chance to experience good sportsmanship on and of the court. While playing Upward Basketball, your child will recieve a special recognition award after every game and have the opportunity to develop new friendships.

Registration Information:
The early registration cost per child for basketball is $50;
after December 7, the cost is $65
Deadline for registration is January 11.
Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $13

Evaluations and Sign-Ups:
Everyone must attend on basketball evaluation. Evaluations take place on December 7,
in the Akron Baptist Temple gym. Times are TBA.

League Schedule:
Practices Begin - Tuesday, January 13, 2009
First Game - Sunday, January 25, 2009
Awards Celebration - Sunday, March 22, 2009

Along with this unique sports experience, your child
will receive the following:

• Upward Reversible Jersey
• Upward Car Magnet
• End of season award

Divisions are as follows:
4yr old - Kindergarten Boys/Girls
1st and 2nd Grade Boys/Girls
3rd and 4th Grade Boys/Girls
5th and 6th Grade Boys/Girls

Note: Divisions may be adjusted according to signup.
